Playing a lot without reviewing is like training wrong: you only reinforce the same mistakes. The good news: GGPoker gives you the history of all your hands, and you can turn that into real evolution. See how.

Step 1 — Activate/download the hand history

In the GGPoker client, look for the Hand History option. Each tournament/session generates a .txt file with all your hands (cards, actions, result).

On Mac, it usually stays in the GG's Hand History folder. Save these .txt files - they are gold for your study.

Step 2 — Do not review automatically

Stop guessing where you went wrong. Upload your tournament and identify your leaks for free.

Analyze for free

Opening the .txt file in the notepad is illegible. The secret is to look with criteria:

  • Where did I lose more chips? (the big pots)
  • Did I raise too small? Did I call too often? Did I bluff at the wrong time?
  • In the short stack, did I respect push/fold?

Step 3 — Analyze step by step (street)

  • Pre-flop: did I enter with a raise or a passive call? Was the hand worth the position?
  • Flop: did the board favor my range? Did the c-bet make sense?
  • Turn/River: did I continue with the plan or did I go on impulse? Did I pay for the dominated call?

Step 4 — Draw conclusions and train

Reviewing without changing anything is useless. Note 1-2 adjustments per session ("raise more often on the button", "stop calling 3-bets out of position") and train the repeated spots (e.g., push/fold).

The shortcut: let the app do the boring part

Doing all this by hand is tedious. The GTO Vyve reads the .txt from GGPoker and delivers it to you right away:

  • Tournament score and the statistics (VPIP, PFR, gap...).
  • Your leaks (recurring errors) with "how to fix".
  • The replay of the table, hand in hand, with GTO analysis in clear language.
  • Your tournament history to follow the evolution.

Everything in the browser, free to start - without spreadsheets, complicated jargon or a high monthly fee.
